LoremCraft (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the LoremCraft website and Lorem Ipsum generator tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. By using our site, you agree to the practices described below.
Information we collect
LoremCraft is designed to collect as little information as possible. The Lorem Ipsum generator runs entirely in your web browser. Text you generate is not transmitted to our servers because we do not operate a backend for the generation feature.
If you use our contact form on a live deployment connected to email or ticketing services, the fields you submit (such as name, email address, and message content) may be processed by that service. On the static demonstration version of this site, form data is validated locally and is not sent anywhere.
Local storage and cookies
We use your browser’s localStorage to remember your preferred theme (light or dark mode)
under the key loremcraft-theme. This improves your experience on return visits and does not track
you across other websites.
We do not use advertising cookies, social media pixels, or third-party analytics trackers on the core static version of LoremCraft. If you deploy our files on your own hosting and add analytics or marketing tools, those services will be governed by their own policies.
How we use information
Any information you voluntarily provide is used only to:
- Respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form;
- Improve the usability and reliability of the website;
- Comply with applicable legal obligations when required.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
If you access LoremCraft through a hosting provider, content delivery network, or domain registrar, those parties may process technical data such as IP addresses and request logs as part of delivering the site. Our pages may contain links to external websites (for example, in footer resources or documentation). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not control.
Data retention
Theme preferences remain in localStorage until you clear your browser data or change the setting on the site. Contact messages, when collected through a connected backend, are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and meet legal or operational requirements.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you. Because the generator itself does not store your output on our systems, most requests will relate to contact correspondence or hosting logs maintained by your deployment.
